Parent company of entity that took over YTF SUED for CONSUMER FRAUD

DES MOINES. Attorney General Tom Miller has filed a consumer fraud lawsuit in Polk County District Court against Vertrue, Inc., which sells a variety of buyers-club membership programs across the U.S. and Canada. The company would be known to most consumers as MemberWorks or MWI.

Miller said: "The suit concerns a marketing scheme in which consumers' credit cards and bank accounts are charged for memberships in so-called discount buying programs - even though many consumers don't know they are members, are not aware that they are being charged yearly or monthly membership fees, and make no use whatsoever of the so-called membership benefits."........ see link:

VERTRUE is the PARENT COMPANY of "mychoicemedical.com", the corporate entity I refer to that 'bought out' the YTF facial plastic surgery message boards.

This entity is charged with your CREDIT INFORMATION to check those interested in their FINANCING plans which they promote over the web through a variety of 'networked' domain names. Please be aware that the parent company of the entity that bought out the YTF boards now is being sued by the Attorney General in Iowa for CONSUMER FRAUD.

Please also NOTE that the financing programs managed by "mychoicemedical.com" (the entity who bought out YTF who's parent company VERTRUE is now being sued by attorney general for CONSUMER FRAUD) are NOT associated with "CareCredit.com".

Also note that the domain name; "lookmybest.com" (the one you see prominently displayed on YTF site) is NOT associated with the domain name of "lookingyourbest.com". I wrote to the owner of "lookingyourbest.com" (domain name owner) and he gave me an emphatic NO they are NOT associated.

Here is my correspondance with the owner of "lookingyourbest.com"

We have NOTHING to do with LookMyBest.com or mychoicemedical.com - unfortunately there are plenty of imitators out there. We are exclusively associated with Allergan Medical specifically with INAMED Breast Aesthetics and list surgeons that use INAMED breast implants.

We are currently in the process of determining if these other sites are infringing on our copyright and apologize for any confusion.

Subject: Question about domain name

Dave,
Is your site associated with the site; lookmybest.com or mychoicemedical.com ???

I'm concerned because I filled out a form on lookmybest.com for "finding a doctor".

On the e-mail I got back from them was the domain name:
consultationservicesforplasticsurgery.com

on which i saw a ...doc; Michael Evan Sachs, (most law suits in NYC for a doc) who was a prominent advertiser on the kickback domain from lookmybest.com

As a patient concerned about 'what kind' docs referral sites have as prominent advertisers, I would like to know if lookmybest.com and lookingyourbest.com are managed, owned or controlled by the same corporate entity owning consultationservicesforplasticsurgery.com which is mychoicemedical.com
